Ntesports Extends CTRL Esports Partnership for Sixth Year with Biggest Sponsorship Deal Yet

Ntesports is delighted to announce the renewal of its sponsorship of CTRL Esports
This announcement marks extending a partnership that has now reached an incredible sixth year – and marking our biggest sponsorship commitment to the organisation to date.
The renewed agreement comes at arguably the most exciting point in CTRL’s journey so far, following a period of significant competitive success, organisational development and ambitious plans for the future.
For Ntesports, however, this partnership has always meant a little more.
CTRL was established by former BTEC Esports students taught by Ntesports Managing Director Nik Turner, and supporting the organisation as it has developed and matured has become a fantastic example of what can happen when esports education, opportunity and grassroots support come together.
From the Classroom to LAN Champions
One of the biggest moments in CTRL’s history came in February 2026 when the organisation secured victory in the VALORANT tournament at EPIC.LAN.
It was a landmark achievement for the organisation and demonstrated just how far the team had progressed. CTRL’s Narky was also named MVP of EPIC.LAN 47, making the victory even more memorable.
And it wasn’t a one-off.
On 30 August, CTRL returned to LAN competition at the Valhalla VALORANT Tournament, assembling a one-off roster that once again included former CTRL player Narky.
The result?
Another LAN victory.
That second title reinforces CTRL’s growing reputation as an organisation capable of bringing together talented players and delivering when it matters in a live competitive environment.
For Ntesports, seeing an organisation that began with former students now lifting trophies at LAN events is exactly why supporting grassroots esports matters.
Building on Competitive Success
VALORANT is only one part of CTRL’s continued development.
Fortnite player Ghxsty has enjoyed an impressive period representing the organisation, reaching an FNCS Grand Final and earning more than $1,000 in prize money under the CTRL banner during the past three months.
Although he narrowly missed qualification for the FNCS Globals LAN event, CTRL is confident about his continued development and is currently working towards renewing his contract.
The organisation is also preparing to return to VALORANT Game Changers, with a new roster currently being finalised.
The emphasis isn’t simply on finding talented players. CTRL is looking for people who want to develop together, compete at the highest level possible and positively contribute to both the organisation and the wider esports community.
The team at CTRL (Ben, Will and George) explained:
“We’re looking for players who want longevity within a team, who want to compete at the highest level possible, but who also want to have a positive impact through CTRL and across the wider esports scene. That’s the culture we’re continuing to build.”
A New Look and a Growing Content Strategy
Behind the scenes, CTRL is also evolving as a brand.
The organisation is increasing its focus on content, including plans for more consistent long-form content through its YouTube channel and closer collaboration with its growing network of content creators.
CTRL has also introduced a refreshed visual identity, including a subtly redesigned logo and a new graphics package created by its in-house designer Mike of MHV1SUALS.
The updated identity has already received a positive response and reflects an organisation that is becoming increasingly confident about its direction and ambitions.
Six Years of Supporting CTRL
This year’s agreement represents the sixth consecutive year Ntesports has sponsored CTRL Esports and is our largest commitment to the organisation so far.
For Nik Turner, the relationship demonstrates exactly what Ntesports’ grassroots sponsorship programme is designed to achieve.

To see them go from studying the BTEC Esports qualification to building their own organisation, winning at EPIC.LAN and now developing bigger ambitions for CTRL is something I’m incredibly proud to have witnessed. For me, this is what esports education should ultimately be about – giving young people the knowledge, confidence and opportunities to go away and create something of their own.”
