NTesports Inspires Future Talent at St Vincent College Careers Fair
At NTesports, we believe that careers start with inspiration. That’s why we were thrilled to visit St Vincent College in Gosport, home of the St Vincent Sharks, for their Careers Fair, where we had the opportunity to engage with students and discuss the exciting career opportunities available in the esports industry.
Our Managing Director, Nik Turner, was on hand throughout the day, speaking with students from across the college, including a large number of esports learners, about the vast potential within the industry. From shoutcasting and coaching to marketing, event management, business development, and content creation, we emphasised that esports is more than just playing games, it’s a rapidly growing, multi-billion-pound industry full of opportunities.

Engaging With Future Industry Professionals
What made the day even more special was sharing the experience with our newest partner, Damon Bates from ZMS Esports Studios. Our stands were placed right next to each other, making for an exciting collaboration as we answered student questions, gave advice, and shared our passion for esports education and careers.
It was clear from our conversations that many students have the talent, enthusiasm, and curiosity needed to thrive in esports and digital industries—they just need the right guidance and encouragement to turn their passion into a profession.
Why Industry Engagement Matters
One of the most important aspects of our visit was reinforcing the idea that dream careers don’t happen by accident, they happen with knowledge, support, and determination. We know that young people today are growing up in a digital-first world, where the landscape of careers is evolving faster than ever.
Esports, gaming, and digital media are real, viable career paths, but students need industry professionals to step up and show them how to take those first steps. That’s why industry engagement with education is crucial, it helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world opportunities.
By attending careers fairs, speaking with students, and sharing our own experiences, we hope to spark ambition and provide clear pathways for young people to pursue their dreams. Whether it’s working behind the scenes in production, becoming a top-tier shoutcaster, managing esports businesses, or creating viral content, there’s a place in this industry for anyone willing to chase their goals.
A Special Thanks to St Vincent College
We want to extend a massive thank you to Martin Birch-Forster for inviting us to be part of such a well-organized and impactful event. Seeing so many students engaged, asking insightful questions, and considering their futures in esports was truly inspiring.
At NTesports, we’re committed to supporting young people in finding their place in esports—whether that’s through educational resources, grassroots team sponsorships, or career guidance. Events like this remind us why that mission is so important.
