Nik Turner to Host Opening Day of Groundbreaking PHASE Esports Conference at Murrayfield

NTesports is proud to announce that Managing Director Nik Turner will be hosting Day One of the PHASE Esports Conference, a landmark event making its debut in Scotland at Murrayfield Stadium from 26–28 September 2025.


PHASE is a dynamic three-day celebration of gaming, education, and innovation, designed to engage students, content creators, families, and esports professionals alike. The event features live esports finals, an Education Invitational Competition, hands-on workshops, and a vibrant exhibitor zone showcasing the latest tech and immersive experiences.


Day One, which Nik will host, focuses on “Esports and Education”, spotlighting how esports is revolutionising academic environments and equipping young people with transferable skills for modern careers. The day will explore the integration of esports into curricula, particularly its impact on STEM learning, student engagement, and future employability.

Key highlights include:
A keynote on The Role of Esports in Education featuring Shoubna Naika-Taylor and Euan Jardine, covering how gaming drives motivation and skill development in the classroom.
Presentations on empowering futures, esports in industry and the armed forces, and esports in traditional sports and community initiatives, including a compelling session from Gavin Ferry of Newcastle United Foundation.

The day closes with a multi-sector panel, “Esports Unleashed”, chaired by Nik Turner, bringing together voices from education, military, and sport to explore shared strategies and opportunities.
