CZY Esports Shine at the Betika Esports Showdown – A Proud Moment for NTesports

The event, held on August 2–3 at Broadwalk Mall, Nairobi, brought together over 1,000 gamers competing across EA Sports FC25, Call of Duty: Mobile (4v4), and Mortal Kombat. With KES 2 million in prize money on the line, the competition was fierce, the atmosphere electric, and the passion for gaming clear for all to see.
Two CZY Squads – Two Podium Finishes
CZY entered the tournament with two Call of Duty: Mobile squads – the main CZY Esports team and their sister squad Obsedian (CZY Team B). Both made waves in the competition, with CZY Esports securing 3rd place and Obsedian taking 4th – a fantastic double podium for the CZY family.
CZY Esports fought through the upper bracket in style, sweeping Killing U Softly 3-0, defeating The Edge 3-1, and winning a nail-biting 3-2 thriller against their sister team Obsedian. Although losses to eventual champions Delta Esportsand runners-up 2Ez stopped their push for the title, they walked away with a KES 100,000 prize and plenty of momentum for future events.
Obsedian made an impressive run of their own. After a flawless 3-0 win over Wantam Snipers, they fell narrowly to CZY Esports before battling through the lower bracket, beating Atlas Esports 3-0 and finishing in 4th place with KES 70,000.
